Many Hatfield Garden Village residents have contacted me about the huge traffic issues on Campion Road and Green Lanes over the past few days.
The signage relating to the roadworks on Hatfield Avenue is completely unclear. As a result, several large lorries have found themselves stranded across the small roundabouts on Campion Road, causing disruption to residents and commuters. Also, astonishingly, the ‘Road Closed’ sign by Green Lanes Primary School is facing the wrong direction. This causes huge confusion for road users.
To bring about a speedy resolution to this issue, I’ve been in touch with the company carrying out the maintenance work to demand they correct the signage.
