After being shut for a prolonged period, the Welwyn North store has reopened to the community under new owners.
The opening of the store was met by a crowd of shoppers as well as Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps, who met with the new owners.
The new owner, Mohan, showed Grant the improvements and changes they had made to the store as well as the wide array of goods and services they would provide to shoppers and the wider community.
Grant commented on the opening: “It was absolutely fantastic to meet the new owners of the Welwyn North Store and to celebrate its reopening with local shoppers.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, providing goods, services, and employment to local people. I wish them all the best for the future.”
Mohan thanked Grant for taking the time to visit the newly opened shop: “I am very proud and glad that Grant visited my shop’s opening ceremony for the ribbon cutting, as well as serving some of the very first customers behind the till! My kind regards and best wishes to him.”
